Malak Regency Hotel

Best of Bascarsija
"Location is very good a few minutes walk from old town. Bathroom was a little small and previous guests had been smoking in the room leaving a bad smell. The host did try and get rid of the smell but it stayed there the whole time"

Hotel Old Town
"Very convenient location in old town. Great breakfast and helpful staff. Only complaint was parking. Very hard to get in and out of parking space although staff did help me navigate. City does not seem to give tickets to people who park illegally and block you in your parking space."

Hotel Central
"Friendly staff"

FG Boutique Hostel
"The room is a bit dirty and so is the kitchen. The owner (egyptian) does not even bother to show you the properties. He seems to be more interested with the 5 euro key deposit. Make sure you get your key deposit the night before you leave, otherwise good luck to that 5euro deposit. To make my experience worst, I was with a bunch of Chinese travelers who are so loud, uncivilized and are so dirty in the kitchen. They do not wash their dirty dishes and the owners could care less. These Chinese would use the bathroom and poop and not flush the toilets, so gross! Both male and female. "

Residence Inn by Marriott Sarajevo
"Hotel looks to be in a rough neighbourhood but in fact its very centrally located in safe area with easy access to the Bascarsija - without being in the thick of it. Quiet. Short was to the tram across the bridge. Room was large & spacious. Quite well appointed with a kitchenette & microwave. Good sized bathroom but no rainfall shower. Hand shower lacked pressure but I was assured at checkout that this could have been rectified. Breakfast was average - standard buffet no choice for eggs cooked to order. Replenishment was slow especially when busy. Staff were very amenable and helpful. Overall quite a good and enjoyable stay."

Hotel Old Sarajevo
"Location is great. Right in the center of the old Market. Staff were very nice and breakfast was very enjoyable. Only downside is that the hotel's 8 rooms are all either up 1 or 2 flights of stairs and no elevator. So carrying the suitcases up and down the stairs was a bit of a challenge. The female receptionist did offer to help with the bags. I would definately stay here again and recommend it."

Guest house Halvat
"We stayed at the hotel for four nights. We really liked the location. We also appreciated the laundry service. It was reasonably priced, and all our clothes came back promptly, clean and nicely folded. It was a real treat since we were traveling for several days out of two carry-on sized suitcases. The hotel operator requested that we pay in cash (Local currency or Euros) , so recommend clarify payment options when booking. Great communication, so we will definitely stay there again if we go to Sarajevo."

Europe Hotel
"The worst five-star hotel I've ever stayed in. The room had old, poor-quality furniture. The layout was terrible; there were no drawers for storing clothes at all. The television was the smallest I've ever seen in a hotel. I absolutely do not recommend it and would never return."
