"Great stay. We stayed for 20 nights whilst visiting family in Melbourne. The room was a good size with everything you need. Good fridge, TV & air con. The staff were very helpful & friendly. We had an issue with our room card when we first checked in and Therese got it sorted for us swiftly. The location is perfect for exploring Melbourne, easy walk into the CBD & close to tram stops but far enough so you aren't in the immediate hustle & bustle. Great surrounding area with lots of bars and restaurants. Would recommend & would definitely stay again. Thanks"
"Staff were professional and courteous, offered an early check in as an unexpected bonus when we asked to store some luggage while we went to lunch.
Our room was spotlessly clean and the shower pressure was great. A convection microwave made having snacks in the room a breeze.
One of the castors on a bed did become dislodged but the maintenance team had it replaced in under half an hour with no hassles.
Will definitely be looking at the Great Southern again for a stay in the CBD, it's very handy to the station as well as all the main tram lines. "
