Never again.

One toilet only for all guests to share. No security, front door left open and unlocked all night. No consideration for silent hours, guests were watching boxing match on full volume at 0400. I did not feel safe or clean and could not get out of there fast enough. For £30 what do you expect I suppose, but I recommend you avoid this typhoid and diphtheria inducing nightmare at all costs.

The great thing is that the staff members at the property are supportive and friendly. They just need to clean up the property more frequently. It will be great if there is central light in the dorm rooms. The bunkers can have a head light and extension plug for each bed. I've seen these things before in one of the hostels I stayed earlier this year.

This properties should not be on Expedia site. It's a boneless shelter with a couple of spare rooms. Absolutely terrible and a price of £166 a night.

Bon personnel très accueillant et aidant , Maison vétuste qui pourra avoir beaucoup de charme si elle étais entretenue et deux ou trois travaux Bien choisir le lit car certains draps sales ( mais matelas très agréable je me suis endormi vite alors que c’est pas forcément le cas dans d’autres auberges que j’ai faite) en regardant si j’avais rien oublier vue un sachet au rat ouvert sous le lit , Les sol et toilette et douche pas propres Bonus pour le chien adorable

Cozy and friendly place for solo visitor.

As an over hundred year old building, I think its condition is good enough. It is closed to Liverpool Central but on a quiet street. Suitable for weekend visit. People are friendly and helpful. I can tell some of the roommate stay there for long. They are working in the hostel and interact like family. However, as there is only one public toilet, it is difficult to manage cleanness. Luckily, their shower is not bad. I put a bit lower rate on eco-friendly because the shower cannot completely off and water keep dropping out. The bed room have more space than I expect and have open street view. As I slept in the upper bed, it was kind of shaky when I climbing down from my bed. They have TV in the lounge and I had watched live football match with other hostel visitors. I will consider this hostel if I visit Liverpool again.

Didn't really have a stay

Had to evacuate the room at 6am in the morning due to being bitten by an unknown insect and having an allergic reaction. I have pictures of those bites however I am unable to upload them due to a mobile phone website issue

This hostel has an interesting history and the owner is very welcoming however the amenities urgently need attention including the toilets, showers & kitchen. I was horrified to hear and see mice (yes plural) in my dorm.

Cheap and cheerful. Loved the 🐕

Cheap stay if needs be. Very friendly and helpful staff plus the dog is great so bonus points. However the place needs a good deep clean and update. Found the rooms lovely period gutted but a bit crowded ( maybe one less bunk bed) I'd stay again

The staff are very rude. Very rude on check out saying our check out is goodbye never come back again. The beds we're also very hard and not comfy to sleep in. Breakfast options we're very slim not much choice. Also it was very noisy at night time with people partying and talking loud at night. Can't get a restfull night's sleep without people shouting loud and slamming doors. I would avoid this hostel. Do not waste your money
