I booked this hotel primarily because it advertised a fitness center, which is important to me when traveling. Unfortunately, what was described as a fitness center turned out to be a serious disappointment: it consisted of three pieces of cardio equipment, some of which were broken, and a single piece of weight equipment that couldn’t be used due to missing clips and pins.
Overall, my stay was extremely disappointing—especially for the rate of over $200 per night. In my 20+ years of travel, this was by far one of the most unpleasant hotel experiences I’ve had. The property is in poor condition and does not reflect the price point. At best, it should be priced around $40 per night.
The hotel had a pervasive, unpleasant odor. The carpet was heavily stained, paint was peeling from the walls, and the curtains in my room had unidentified stains. The toilet backed up during my stay, and to make matters worse, I found hair in the bed that clearly did not belong to me. It made it difficult to rest comfortably, as I was genuinely concerned about the overall cleanliness and sanitation.
The only positives were that the bed itself was very comfortable and the front desk staff were friendly and welcoming. However, these two factors were not enough to make up for the many issues I encountered. I would not stay here again and would not recommend this property unless it undergoes significant maintenance and cleanliness improvements.
