If I ever return to Arlington/Dallas , I will be staying here again! The staff is friendly & the hotel is very clean!

Scents of Dog Urine and Cockroach on wall.
The room was slightly outdated and had a subtle scent of dog urine. The worst part was on our last night, when the biggest cockroach we’ve ever seen appeared on our wall. We were uncomfortable for the rest of the night, but since it was our last night, we decided to stick it out. The only pros were the free trolley to the Rangers game and the decent complimentary breakfast.

Not up to Par
The facility has deteriorated badly. Our sofa was missing the back cushions. Most of the tiles in the elevators were cracked or broken. Tye tv’s are outdated and picture was a cool shade of blue. We’ve stayed here many years as it is close to the ballpark and is usually packed full of guests for the games, this stay was very different.

Convenient but bad business
I checked in around noon, just because i knew i was going to be back late, my room wasn't ready but i understand since I know chicken is not until later but just wanted to make sure they had my room. The lady at the front desk told me she will text me when my room was ready And never did. When i got back to the hotel around 10:30 at night, they assigned me a single bed room and my reservation was for a 2 bed. When i went and let the lady up front know , she told me they over booked and they didn't have that type of room available for me all she could do was give me blankets. After me going back and forth with her, she said there was another reservation with a double bed and she went ahead and have it to me. It was a huge inconvenience and i know another customer was mad when they got to the hotel and had to experience the same thing i did.

It’s a very busy hotel for families. It’s very close to the amusement park and baseball field. Prepare yourself for fireworks at night, one night they started at 930 and then 11pm. We’re not sure if they were from 6 flags or the baseball park. Our room could use some updates (paint, furniture, fixtures). They definitely tried to keep up on the breakfast buffet items considering what a large crowd there was.

Poor service
Getting a room here was a horrible experience. Coming up from San Antonio, we called the hotel to explain that due to the wild weather (high winds) we wouldn't be arriving for the first night of our two nights that we had prepaid. Front desk explained that because it was booked through a third party that we'd need to contact Hotels.com directly and only they could adjust it. Understandable. So we did and the rep said it would be up to the hotel and put us on hold to contact the them who said no to the request. We called the hotel back to explain that we didn't want a refund, just to adjust our stay for the second night but Jada, the front desk supervisor, continuously refused to even speak with us, always telling the front desk staff to deal with us or send us a message. They even told us that they wouldn't have any rooms available the second night while Hotels.com could clearly see rooms available on their end. There was no getting around it and by the third call it was finally Hotels.com that offered us a solution on their end. It's so sad that all Jada had to do was show a little compassion and humanity but instead chose to make it a difficult situation that prompted this review. A supervisor should be the face of their establishment and be ready to assist their customers. Clearly this isn't a priority for Jada. I'm glad the room was nice and comfortable but the overall experience was awful. I expected better service from Hyatt.
