Wonderful little place to stay! Would recommend for those not looking for something to fancy. Many taco stands right by as well as restaurants and bars. Gates get locked at night so very safe amd pretty quiet. Wonderful helpful staff! Warm water and a decent breakfast was included. :)

very basic place in an excellent location. friendly staff. in the share kitchen no knife/fork / salt paper. i booked it because it said kitchen in the room..... no microwave or pot to boil eggs or pan to fry something. good place for overnight or a base to travel during the day and back to rest.

Pros- Good price and you are close to alot of restaurants, shops, and public transportation. Cons-There were multiple blood stains on the pillow and bed sheets. There was mold in pretty much every location in this specific room (not sure if the other rooms are like this). Lastly, there was only cold water.

I tried multiple times getting in contact (calling, texting and emailing) with the contact number, and no one ever answered me back. The expedia says that we have to get in contact since they don’t have front desk… so I got desperate. Ended up they do have front desk (and they were very nice and I had a fast check in), so I stressed out for nothing. The room was really really simple which I wouldn’t mind based on the price… but although the sheets were clean… the blanket and the pillows were smelling terrible!!!! They just offered towels at the end of the night. And there was a lot of mold in the walls… I wouldn’t get back although the location is great.

Very cute, clean, Boutique spot w friendly vibe

Hi I stayed two separate occasions at this place. It’s very whimsical. The owner has put tons of art all over the place which added to the plants and the abundance of light makes it definitely awesome. It’s more unique than the other places i’ve stayed in Mexico. there’s a cute little breakfast lunch spot in it that’s full of locals which to me means a lot of things. all positive. it is pretty central and the bus stations like five blocks away. The only negative and this is for all hotels in the center is that the taxis do charge a lot to get down to the beach area. But there is a “collectivo” (shared bus w mostly locals. I use for 40 pesos to get there during the day, which isn’t a problem. the better Restaurants like Negra Huitlacoxe and a bunch of Local spots, also the live music (Batay Palma Central & Mercado Centreau are favorites) seems to all be over here in the center so that’s why I prefer to stay over here. Very safe, very clean, 11am checkout which I prefer. I will stay here and at their other spot in Bacalar again. I’m off to Hol Box. peace out! Nicholas V from NYC!
