The check-in experience is not very good, the hygiene is terrible.After checking out, I found that my card had been deducted twice inexplicably, for two accommodation fees, two parking fees, and two pet accommodation fees. I hope the hotel can give a reasonable explanation.

The service was excellent, however the room had stains on the floor, and was a little outdated. There was a commotion going on in the room next to us all night until the next day and there was screaming coming outside the room and cops were standing out in the hallway outside our room.

There 3 nights . Carpets could be cleaner. Like the layout with bed room having a door. Could not turn on lamps easily the light switch does not work with lamps. Food okay, eggs not tasteful. Otherwise we plan to stay there when daughter ‘s. Guest room is occupied.

Remodel!

We love your location. The snack bags were so nice and the employees at reception were wonderful. We really wish, though, that you would remodel and modernize the rooms. The toilet and shower are so cramped! I’d prefer to have the sink in the bathroom. I’d rather have this done than to have the sitting area.

Old and run down

The hotel is very old and is showing its age. The furniture was all chipped. The room smelled faintly of “skunk cabbage.” I have mold allergies and woke up so stuffed up I had to take a shower to steam out my sinuses to breathe. The I noticed there was no hair dryer in the room. I tried to call the front desk from the room phone and it said the number was no longer in service. The breakfast was super busy and everything was constantly out. Worst Embassy Suites I’ve ever stayed in.

The grass isn't always greener on the other side.

We originally chose this place because of the hot tub and sauna that it had and how beautiful it was. They're still beautiful however our whole entire state pool area with the hot tub had been shut down by Missouri health inspectors. They reimburse us $50 for parking which we weren't told that we're being charged that when we checked in. We paid almost $200 a night and didn't even get to swim but the rooms was nice and the guy at the front desk was super kind when we first got there. If it wasn't for him being our first interaction we probably would have left knowing that we didn't get to use any of the amenities. I feel that we should have been reimbursed more than $50 and I shouldn't have had to ask and it should have been offered knowing that we weren't going to be able to use the poor and hot tub. The area was really beautiful though and everything was conveniently close. I suggest you spend your $200 a night at another place. Did you get two free cocktails which they didn't tell you, a night so having not been told that until the last night we were there by the bartender, it was more or less just a place the rest our heads.

Great staff, bad hotel.

Pool was closed by the city, tv’s would crackle and have white noise while we watched, and the hotel as a whole seemed to be in dire need of an update; no fault of the staff, who seemed very kind and courteous.

If the pool & hot tub aren't open, and your search criteria doesn't show you any hotels without those 2 things, that amenity option should be removed from the property. No way I would stay at this hotel without that option, and never again now even if that option is available. Old, outdated, leaks in the sinks and water damage on ceilings, and stains on the bathroom walls. And the entire place smells of pool chemicals, which just adds insult to injury. With a renovation and updates it could be nice again, but it's almost too late for that.

It worked

Stayed in a suite. The ac didn’t work properly which made the room warm. The drain in the shower was very slow, it was like taking a bath. There was mold in the room by the window where there was clearly water damage. The pool was clean and hot tub was hot. Staff were friendly. This place needs an update and maintenance.
