The staff is very friendly and always welcoming to guests. They were very informative and helpful. Our room was generally clean and maintained well, but both of the beds smelled super mildewy. Housekeeping does not make daily rounds and will only clean rooms if you stay at least 5 nights. Additionally, there are no elevators and isn't very handicap friendly with no ramps. We had a perfect stay here. The hotel is situated right on the beach, offering beautiful views. The pool area is very nice, too. We didn't avail ourselves of the many amenities, i.e., DVD rental, bike rental, etc, but had a great time there. The shops and restaurants at the Coconut Marketplace were so convenient!

Your incidental fees are a bit high for a night $215 (still pending) The bathroom looked like it needs a new tub and the phone charger in my room wasn’t working, also the walkways need to drain better when it rains because my entire shoes got soak and wet but other than those issues, everything else was great and the staff was pleasant!

Condition: The room was spacious and exceptionally clean. The furniture has a beautiful "antique" aesthetic, yet it is clearly well-maintained and in excellent condition. • Comfort: The wood-framed beds were stunning and featured very comfortable mattresses. • Facilities: The air conditioning worked perfectly and was impressively quiet. Our room overlooked the beach and ocean so the view was incredible. It was centrally located and liked the Coconut marketplace across the street. The negative was that the remote didn’t control the TV so we couldn’t watch it. They didn’t resolve it over the 4 nights we were there.

Our seventh stay here over the past thirty years. Well managed, welcoming and one of our favorite properties anywhere. The gardens are lush and meticulously maintained, the beachfront location is a real plus and shopping/events, etc. are close by. Some fifty years old, the property could probably use some renovations, but regardless, is still an exceptional place and highly recommended.

My major complaint is about the $250 hold/security deposit that has no warning before booking. I stayed ONE NIGHT for $293 Total. How is more than half my stay payment justified? The Hyatt doesn’t even do this, and they go for 1k a night. I have news for the Owner, there is Nothing in those dated rooms worth $250 to damage. This is not an apartment, it’s a 300 sq ft hotel room, let’s calm down. The Staff: upon arrival the loveliest, most helpful, kind woman checked me in (I wish I had her name), that Queen is the only reason this isn’t a one star review. Unfortunately there’s other staff that are there at 4pm, one girl in particular who was the polar opposite of the woman who checked me in. I asked about the $250 charge and she had the nastiest attitude before I could get my question out. She very clearly hates that job. As far as my room cleanliness: I had someone’s pubic hair threaded through the cotton shower curtain…so, can’t rightly give 5 stars. But the hotel isn’t horrible, someone in charge seems to the it’s Four Season status. I could overlook the pubic hair in the shower curtain, the nasty attitude from other staff, etc-But not the $250 hold for one night.

The pool was beautiful. The hotel itself is a little outdated. When requesting for additional pillows apparently they only had one available for the entire hotel. The pillows were incredibly flat and uncomfortable. Decent stay for budget.

The patio faced the building nest door. The AC went out when the power went out and at the same time my cpap machine stopped working. the staff was both helpful and grumpy. Nice place otherwise.
