We stayed at the **Cosmopolitan Hotel from July 22 to 26, 2025**, and unfortunately had a disappointing experience.
We were given room **C030**, which was right next to the tram line where it curves—resulting in loud noise every time the tram passed. Despite requesting an upper-level room and being told it would be away from the tram, this wasn't the case.
The room had **only one heater** located in the living room, leaving the bedroom cold. When we asked to change rooms, we were denied unless we **paid for an upgrade**. Instead, housekeeping delivered a plug-in heater—but entered our room without knocking. We also discovered that the door had no latch or chain lock meaning anyone with a key could enter. We resorted to blocking the door with a sofa, and the front desk confirmed this was the case for all rooms did not object to the sofa blocking the door.
Additional issues included:
-bathroom window that wouldn’t fully close-we had to seal it with towels.
-cracked toilet seat, which pinched when used.
-Visible mold in the shower and sink areas, and we had to adjust shut-off valves to get hot water.
-Uncleaned counters with crumbs left behind, and a chipped glass was simply put back in place.
- We even found a long-lost TV remote behind the sofa.
Overall, the room was poorly maintained and didn’t feel secure. Disappointed with both the condition and services.
