We stayed here three nights (3 adults, one child). The hotel was FANTASTIC— great location, beautifully maintained, built physically over archeological sites (which you can see through a glass floor, as a museum runs beneath it) and the breakfast was TOP NOTCH (I will be daydreaming about the Coconut Panela cheese!). Don’t get me started about the bowls of guavas. 😍
However… we had issues with our hotel room key. Every. Single. Time. A run downstairs to breakfast? Key wouldn’t work. A swing by El Zocalo (a block away)? Key wouldn’t work.
Staff appeared annoyed we had to ask for help every time.
We ran out of towels and had to ask for some— we were given attitude when asked about wash cloths.
I will, however, say that I appreciated we were asked about allergies (our kid has a food allergy). Although that really didn’t make a difference come breakfast time. But our child is great about advocating for herself.
Despite issues with the keys and attitude, we’d still stay there. The location and modern aesthetic were top level.
