The exterior and lobby was nice by the rooms were very outdated. The updates also were not done well and seemed to be done quite poorly. The washrooms are really old and there was no working fan. Pool was nice and clean. Café was nice.Overall, price was not worth the value, primarily because of the rooms.

I was graciously offered the staffs “favourite” suite #101 which was told to me that sometimes guests find people walking by on the path to be slightly disrupting. I asked about how far the path is from the suite and was told it wasn’t close at all and not to worry. Turns out the path is maybe four feet from the windows and can see directly inside. I spent the entire time with the drapes shut unable to see the ocean view that was paid for and watching shadows of people walk by as the sun set. Not wanting to complain and be a pain, I stayed in the room anyways. My plan being mostly to sleep (I’m 9 months pregnant with a toddler at home and due in two weeks) I was woken up to 7 am construction happening in the room next door to me that went on for over an hour. On the way out my plan was to let the front desk know however multiple people were waiting to check in and I didn’t have time to wait. Overall the stay was disruptive and far from relaxing and I felt because I was alone and not a tourist (from Vancouver island) my experience wasn’t as valued.

Amazing Views!

Amazing water views from my room! Bed was very comfortable. Public areas are nice. Staff are nice, helpfiul, and knowledgeable about the area. Rooms could use updating. Room doors are light weight & don't block sound. Could also hear conversations from next rooms.

Stayed a few nights to visit family in Victoria. We love the view, the accessibility to the walking path on the water, that it’s slightly off of downtown but close enough, the cafe, easy parking and friendly staff.

It wasn't my favorite, sorry.

Booked for mother's day weekend, likely wouldn't go back. For the price, the value wasn't there. Advertised as having an ocean facing deck, you could only stand on the small deck, there wasn't room for chairs that didn't exist. No perks other than coffee in the room. Breakfast at the restaurant was mostly disappointing with forgotten and frozen food that we were still charged for and $28 a day to park? No thank you, I parked 1.5 blocks away for free. The staff at the front desk were nice but it also wasn't clear that I had to use my Hotels.com gift card when I booked so that was no fun at check out either. Note if you are booking, the Laurel wing faces more of the canal than the ocean and some boarded up parts of the ferry terminal. You do get to see the parliament building lit up at night which was nice but for $350 a night plus tax, I wouldn't go back. Also, small pool, no hot tub and no washroom in the lobby.

Great experience at Inn at Laurel Point

My daughter and I came to visit for a weekend, and I'm so happy I chose to stay at Inn at Laurel Point. This hotel is absolutely beautiful. Everyone we came in contact with was pleasant and helpful. Our room was amazing and pretty large for a hotel room. If we ever return, we will be staying here again.

Disappointing reception

We had a very disappointing check in experience. We had booked a room with a harbor view but when we checked in we were facing the city with a very limited view of the water. When we advised the front desk we were told that it was a harbor view. We said this was not the view advertised and were told they had no other rooms available. We said that this was not acceptable and asked to talk to the manager. They then said they would check again and finally found us a room with a harbor view. This whole process took over 20 minutes The hotel and amenities are quite lovely but with this initial service we will not book here again

Our stay was amazing. We didn’t love our room initially. It wasn’t the view we anticipated. I called downstairs and they couldn’t move us the first night, but they moved us the second night. They were very accommodating, thoughtful, kind. Moved our bags without us even asking. And they were in the second night was absolutely spectacular.
