We arrived 2 hours before check-in time and asked about early check in. They said that they had our room available but we would have to pay $50 to check in early. I could understand charging for late checkout as that causes problems cleaning the rooms and I would understand if the room was not available for early check in but to charge $50 for 2 hours....nope!
