I have been staying at this hotel for over 40 years. I am treated like family by the front desk staff and always accommodated with my requests, to the best of their ability.
There have been many changes over the years but the service is always pretty good.
This trip I had to change rooms because the older wall airconditioner was noisy and then quit. They are probably a weak point of the hotel.
One issue with the hotel is the higher numbered rooms are pretty close to the freeway overpass and they are noisy, from the traffic, especially the motorcycles.
The restuarant now serves breakfast as a buffet or takeout orders only from the menu. I'm not a fan of this and the buffet is expensive, coming out to over $30.00 a person. When asked if I could order oatmeal off the menu, I was told it was only takeout.
Dinner menu and the food is actually pretty good, but still pricy. Not many other options close by except L and L and Pizza's from the strip mall behind the hotel. I like L and L so I'm ok with it.
Parking is expensive and the resort fee doesn't really give you much except wifi.
The property is old school and now a Wyndham property.
The lobby store has a pretty good selection and open long hours. The bar has some good choices. Sometimes the music is way too loud so you might have to express your request to lower the volume.
Beds are a little hard, but I normally get a pretty good night's sleep, if I get the room temperature just right.
Staff is great.
