Came for the Finalndia-hihto race. Very convenient downtown hotel, about 20 minute walk from race center, 10 minute walk from train station. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby. Trattoria in restaurant is very good, but pricey. Was disappointed hotel had no gym. Liked the hotel bar.

Nice hotel, but was unable to sleep, due to ice being removed by a giant excavator hammering and scraping just outside the hotel most of the night. And very thin walls, you can hear the neighbor room quite well (my neighbor had kids that were not very happy). Tablet in room did not work. Great breakfast. Small rooms but have what you need.

Paikkansa piti kuulemani, että aamiainen on erinomainen. Ainoastaan Tampereen Lappland Hotels vetää vertoja lisukkeena porotuotteet. Pieni harmitus, kun kadulta tulevat aamiaisennälkäiset hieman aiheuttivat jonoa, se sallittakoon, sana kiirii hyvästä aamiaisesta. Se toki aiheutti stressiä hieman henkilökunnalle: kova yritys siistiä pöytiä seuraaville, minkä vuoksi saatuani kahvikannun pöytään ja juotuani yhden kupin ennen varsinaista aamiaista, kuppini ja kannu oli jo viety, kun olin jonottamassa ruokia. Ehdin kuitenkin samaan pöytään ennen kuin siihen oltiin tuomassa uusia asiakkaita. Ja "komensin" tuomaan uuden kannun. Kiirettä piti siis minullakin, sillä hieman odotusta, kun henkilökunta yritti täyttää tyhjentyneitä kulhoja, suht ripeästi kuitenkin. Huone oli kaunis ja siisti, kiittelinkin siistijöitä käytävällä. Vain kenkälusikkaa en löytänyt. Haloo Helsingin keikka oli täydellinen ja ylikin, hotellikokemus, tämän vuodatuksen jälkeen 10-. Ystävällisesti Paula Keijonen

Aamupala teki monipuolisuudellaan vaikutuksen. Pöytiin tarjoiltiin kahvia, teetä tai kaakaota ja karjalanpiirakoita munavoilla. Jugurttikulhojen vieressä oli viipaloituja banaaneja, ja toisin kuin useimmissa muissa paikoissa, marjat eivät olleet liian jäisiä. Hienoa oli myös, että aamiaspöydässä kehotettiin välttämään hävikkiä. Palvelu oli ystävällistä, hotellin sijainti erinomainen, huone siisti ja sänky mukava. Jos vielä joskus matkustan Lahteen, valitsen tämän hotellin uudelleen.
