I’ll start with the positive:
The room was big with 2 queen beds and an island with a sink, mini fridge and microwave in the middle. The hotel location isn’t bad, close to Pirates Dinner Theater off I-Drive.
Negative: There was a circle hole cut in the middle of the island counter where I assume the faucet or some other fixture used to be mounted and is now gone. Leaving an open, unsightly hole. The wardrobe and dresser were in poor condition and desperately need updating. What was most annoying was that the only trash can in the whole room was a tiny one in the bathroom. The floors in the hallways are wavy is the best way to describe them, with lots of high and low points. Just all around a very run down hotel.
They do provide breakfast, but nothing that isn’t carbs. Waffles, cereal, toast and bagels. If they had fruit, which they said they did, it was all gone (at 7am). I asked about eggs or even warm oatmeal, and they said nope, that’s all they have. This shouldn’t be listed as a full breakfast, but a continental breakfast.
We booked this hotel based on all the positive reviews, but I’m not sure where they came from. They must be bots or paid for, bc if given the choice, I’ll pay more to not stay at this hotel again.
