Disappointed

Hotel is currently under renovations and has no amenities available. Rooms were basic and not finished. Cleanliness in the rooms was okay but over all the hotel wasn’t clean. There were roaches crawling on the walls in the lobby area there was no a.c. In common areas and the units in the room are not fully installed. Currently do not recommend staying here. The information when booking does not tell you that they are under construction.

Under construction

This hotel will be nice once all the construction is completed. it was not told when I book that the hotel is undergoing a major overhaul. when you walked into the hotel there was no front desk and you had to walk around the corner and down the hall. No breakfast as noted, since everything was under construction. I asked if we would hear the construction, I was told no. Well I did hear it several times, drilling and banging. I wish they would have indicated they were under construction before I booked.

We selected this hotel knowing that it was being renovated but it was not worth it. Staff on check in were fine. The room was in need of repair. The bed was horrible. You would be better off sleeping on the floor, less lumps. But the worst part was in making our decision to stay here was that they had breakfast. THEY DO NOT!! Because of “renovations” that is now not available. So lousy bed and no breakfast makes this hotel not one to stay at until they are finished renovations.

Just okay. We knew the place was going to be no frills and under construction. It was the other stuff that was iffy. Required $50 deposit upon check in was unexpected. Breakfast is now a grab and go bag which we missed due to inconsistent times on the printed materials in the room. Also when we went to call downstairs to ask, the landline phone had no cord to plug into the wall. Room was fine and as expected — but the entire building was just dark and a bit dank.

Website did not indicate that they were under restoration. Woke up to construction noise in the unit above ours at 8am on a Saturday. The smell in all areas of the hotel was terrible. They didn't have actual breakfast, just "to-go bags". Shower has mold around the seals and the surfaces were sticky or greasy. Half of the tv channels were unavailable. For $100/night I should've gone anywhere else. Ended up leaving a day early because the noise was so unbearable. Wouldn't stay again if you paid me.

I would have rated "Quiet", but there's only so much management can do about a dog, or the outside noise from the neighborhood. Not the hotel's fault. It wasn't outrageous, but it wasn't fully quiet. Thankfully I had my white noise app playing all night. But it was good insofar as hotels go. AirBNBs can be better or worse. It was NOT a deal-breaker; the staff was outstanding and accommodated my booking mistake without fanfare or drama. I was pleased with my visit and would stay again.
