We arrived at the location around 6pm on Friday 2/20/26. Upon arrival the lobby was empty and the two employees working the front desk were out back smoking. We waited about 10-15 minutes for them to check us in. When booking the stay I was provided an email saying the security deposit was $50.00 and at check in they attempted to charge me $60.00. I showed the email and they changed the price to $50.00 but refused to provide me a receipt after asking for one.
Once we got to our room, the hallways were filled with trash bags, the elevator was missing panels and there were screws all over the floor. Coming into our room we noticed the light fixture on the ceiling was missing with the wires exposed and the nightstand drawer handle was broken and missing screws. The floors were dirty and not cleaned.
I notified the front desk of the issues and was not given confirmation of notation. When we needed new towels, I went to the front desk to request new ones and was handed a trash bag and told to go retrieve the old towels and bring them back. When I returned with the old towels the employee walked me into the back of the employee area and asked me to take the towels from the storage room. it felt very unattended and the property was overall not cared for nor did it meet the standards of the online listing on Hotels.com and it was posted to be a Super 8 and was not.
