The food, all over the restaurants at the hotel, was great, service in the lounge was great, however, the lobby of hotel is full of security guards that just look at every guest like a threat. Quite uncomfortable.
During the check in, there were some nice ladies, no issues. Except for one morning I went downstairs to extended my check out and the lady trying to “help” just in a very snappy tone gave me the most expensive rate possible for the double room, and no access to the lounge floor. I took it because I had to stay, and more than the price, it was her attitude, totally like I was beneath her, and the hotel. What I have seen, in the majority of female employees in this hotel or in the one next door, Is the way they treat man vs women, someone got to observe that and try to implement some diversity training, No doubt there is a problem from a “sexist” perspective. Later on, I tried to go back to rectify the rate and approached someone else, and same lady just ran and no allow someone else to do it, which was a boomer because she wasn’t pleasant. The social issues, their judgments are not been left out of the work area, so it’s hard to decide to pay the 500 dollars per night for a hotel that it’s definitely not worth that prize, the location is great but for sure I’ll do either one next door. Although the spa is my favorite, always a must! Great potential but customer service must improve.
