This hotel is close to everything, 10 minutes walk to the train station, 5 minutes to Mirabell Palace and Gardens. It was clean, with spacious and comfortable rooms. The buffet breakfast was a major convenience with a good variety of food options and helpful staff. The restaurant and Biergarten served excellent food and gets a sizable crowd during the warm weather. The only drawback was that the gym/spa amenities were off-sight at their sister hotel (although it is only a 3 minutes walk). I would definitely stay at this hotel again if visiting Salzburg.

Hotel Immlauer Brau is a great place to stay while visiting Salzburg. It is within walking distance to Old Town. Mass transit is also very close to the hotel if you prefer to use that to get to Old Town. The train station is within walking distance of this hotel as well. The staff here were so friendly and extremely helpful with suggestions on how to get to places. They were very helpful when a situation occurred with our reservation, they were so kind to resolve the issue so it was more comfortable for us. The rooms were quite a bit larger than normal European hotel rooms which made our stay extra comfortable as we stayed for over a week. I highly recommend this hotel for its friendly staff, location and cleanliness.
