The room was clean with many amenities including water, shampoo and conditioner, body wash and more. There was a refrigerator in the room. Valet parking and baggage delivery to the room made our onboarding smooth. I had stayed here before and the breakfast was upgraded with a broader selection and delivery to the room possible. The staff is wonderful. They even text ahead in event you need reservation at the restaurants in town. They will help get one. The Ebbitt Room restaurant in The Virginia is great. The VirgiThe's location is fantastic as you can walk to The Washington Mall, the beach etc.

The staff was incredibly helpful and kind - the hotel was so cute; loved the linens and it was the perfect location. The challenge was the AC and the noise in our room. The AC wasn't working so they brought in a window AC that was loud and noisy and that would shut off and on throughout the night which woke us up. During the late evenings we could hear loud people on the street. When we checked out I mentioned the AC and the front desk said they'd let maintenance know.

The Virginia Hotel had never disappointed. The hotel is top of the class in Cape May and the service is exceptional. The food is top notch, the drinks are astounding and the ambience is perfect. A lovely place to stay if you enjoy the classic environment and old world charm.
