Stayed after losing power from weather. Check in was virtual and challenging. Took 20 minutes to get sorted and then when I got to the room the door code was also delayed. No hot water in the evening. Bed was comfortable. Hot water in am. There is no staff on-site.

Quiet and Cozy

I've stayed here twice now and it is officially my go-to stay for Pittsburgh. It's always quiet, clean, and I enjoy the virtual check in process. It's conveniently located just outisde of the main city, but close enough to plenty of walkable restaurants and stores.

Extremely Dirty

I am attaching pictures of how dirty and dusty the room was. Microwave was extremely dirty, dresser and nightstand covered in dust. Mirror had toothpaste on it. Shower was extremely dirty.

Pittsburgh hotel

This was a great hotel for a trip to see family. Electronic check in was easy, the room was very clean, and the location is great. Our room was small but we knew we wouldn’t be there much. Larger options are available. They are working opening a bar and restaurant, so we are excited to come back and see that.

Sweetest hidden gem

This is the cutest retro style hotel room in a beautiful historic building. Thoughtfully appointed with unique decor and elevated touches including nice linen, feather pilllows and the like. Small but feels spacious with high ceilings and convenient, functional furniture. My stay was quiet, relaxing and felt special. No problems with the contact free check in

Pretty solid option

Fine stay for a week of work. However, i was a little thrown with no on site maid service…didn’t love coming back to an unmade bed and fresh towels. Wasn’t sure how to get them. Lots of construction happening in the lobby that i wasn’t aware of and the parking was a little complicated. Bed was super comfy and the electronic entry and self check in was nice.

I stay here all the time and it’s always great. This particular room however it’s the best and just had some issues. The lighting was very dark compared to other rooms. The tv was hanging off the wall but facing downwards instead of mounted. One of the outlets was competed exposed with the cover hanging off. It had a smell. It just wasn’t to their usual standard so I was bummed about that when I reached out to Kasa, they responded but didn’t do anything. It would’ve taken 5min to just move me to another room. I normally give the best review and I especially love the people who manage the building during the day. This is solely about my disappointment at the corporate level.

Great hotel!!

We really enjoyed staying at The Maverick by Kasa. It was such a cool atmosphere, easy self check-in, and trendy. Our room was just as pictured and super cute! We also loved that there was free overnight parking on the weekend (and cheap price throughout the day). Would definitely go back!
