Breakfast was very disappointing, fruit dry, bacon overcooked. The black pudding was rock solid, staff didn’t greet on arrival, or clear away plates!! Room was clean and lovely, but being in room 504 the beep every time someone called the lift was incredibly annoying. The bar pumps need cleaning none of the drinks we tried were cold or tasted right, as a result we opted not to go back to the hotel for drink.

We booked a junior suite for our pre-wedding night and the room provided was very different to the listing. The only difference between the suite & the double rooms our family stayed in was having a big tv, Nespresso machine and two small sized (broken) robes. We were on the corner, therefore having a lot of windows too. We made the most of our stay, but overall wish we stayed elsewhere. The bed was uncomfortable, pillows were very lumpy. The carpet, chairs & lamps had absolutely seen better days. Very dated place, and not worth the price. Staff were lovely though.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room itself was nice but was looking a little old and worn. It was nice to have access to the spa facilities, it would be nice if these had an upgrade, the area was looking old, worn and dirty and could do with more seating areas/areas to put belongings when using the pool/thermal areas. On the Monday morning there was a lot of drilling and banging from quite early on which was a shame as it did wake us up earlier than planned.
