This hotel was in the heart of the old quarter, and the location was EXCELLENT! Shops, restaurants, Hoan Kiem lake, were literally steps away, making it easy to find places to eat, things to do, and things to buy. It was also easy for tour companies to pick us up from the hotel. Henry, and the rest of the front desk staff were great, as were the staff in the breakfast room. I would definitely stay here again!

Staff were great - we had booked 2 separate nights due to flight changes and they organised it so we could keep the same room for both nights. The hotel is definitely needing upgrading and i would say its definitely not 5 star more 3 star. Quite tired/outdated in lots of places.
