This place is cozy and beautiful. If you want to be surrounded by warm people and lush gardens, this is the place. The water feature with gold fish on the back patio is like a small meditation retreat. A lot of love when went into building this little gem.

I liked everything. I stayed twice, and upgraded to a private room the second time. They just installed an Air-conditioner. The room had Roku and a large walk in shower with a sunroof. The breakfast is included and the two hosts are extremely nice and helpful.

Great night’s sleep after flying, amazing service

They were communicative, friendly, responsive. I was able to chat with them at any time and they were so helpful. They were willing to pick me up from the airport in middle of the night and when I didn’t need that, they had someone waiting up for me, greeting me and helping me with my bags. The room was comfortable, beautiful furnished, private and clean. The shower and bed were great. When I left, I got my first “Pura Vida” and a friendly goodbye. I would definitely come here again.

This is my first hostel stay (I always thought the worst for these places). I absolutely loved it here. The staff were so kind and welcoming. I had a private bed with a clean bathroom. They had a wonderful vegetarian breakfast and coffee. A beautiful relaxing patio ou back. I highly recommend this place. I'm very impressed! Staying at Garden's House Hostel was my best decision on my trip to Costa Rica. The hosts are the nicest people you could meet, and they go above and beyond to give you the best service and accommodations. You get a home-cooked breakfast included, and can also get a homemade lunch or dinner as well (for a slight extra cost - about $6 USD for a full supper, which is much cheaper than ordering from Uber Eats!). They offer transfer services to pick you up/take you to the locations where day trip busses pick you up (for trips to Manuel Antonio Park or Tortuga Island). I cannot say enough good things about this place!! When I return to Costa Rica, this is the only place I want to stay!
