This was our 3rd stay at this hotel. We've always had a modern, clean and comfortable room (Lawrence of Arabia this time)and have had no issues. We didn't have breakfast this time but we have previously and it was very good.

Good hotel, no complaints. It was just very noisy next to my room, as the walls are thin. £10 a day overnight parking is expensive, so this needs to be factored in should you be staying a few days.

We stayed at this hotel A few years ago but it had gone a bit down market since then I would say it’s a budget hotel now. But it was good value for the price we paid, our room was good I think it had recently been refurbished, we had breakfast which would have been nice but most mornings it was just lukewarm, the staff were friendly, the overall condition of the hotel was rather tired looking.

I stay in Bournemouth regularly but this was my first time at Hotel Celebrity. The reception staff were polite and check-in and check-out were easy. The hotel is clean and well presented. The room I stayed in was well presented and had everything I needed for an overnight stay. I would book this hotel again over some of the local competitors in the same price range.

Hotel Celebrity experience

I had to pay an additional £10 upon arrival to park the car in the hotel car park which was not expected. The lady on reception said it was because it was a third-party car park and we should have booked direct with them to not have had to pay to use the car park. The sign in the room said the cost was £4 (See photo). Please can you mention this on your website for this hotel so it is not a shock for guests when they arrive. Breakfast was too expensive at £12 so we did not have this. Shower unit was so loud it sounded like an industrial hoover and I took a very quick shower as it worried me. Beds were super comfortable and the room was comfortably warm, clean and tidy. Tea/Coffee - there was one sealed tea-bag and 2 loose tea bags which I would not use as you don't know how long they had been there. Other guests had a domestic late at night including banging doors which woke us and other guests up. I know the hotel cannot control that.

While the location is absolutely superb the cleanliness of the room made the stay more uncomfortable than it needed to be. There were unfortunately many signs of previous guests in the room. It’s an old building so it’s quite noisy when people are coming in later in the evening and walking around. We also lost hot water so that was a bit unfortunate too but we had one shower with hot water. Some nice to haves would have been a mirror in the room and not just the bathroom and wall sockets by the bedside table.

Very disappointed, had booked deluxe twin room..cant imagine what standard would be like! Stained and broken furniture. Couldn't lock door from inside. Carpets stained. Breakfast - very limited choice and wasnt nice. We had booked for 4 nights but only tayed 1 and went somewhere else. Internet wifi and TV signal intermittent.

Poor curtains / blinds

Had a issue with the blinds, they would not close and quite a few slats missing or broken. There were no curtains. Ask to move, informed they full went back to the room and there were at least two two rooms that could be booked on the site. So returned to recption and he recluctantly moved us.

Absolutely fantastic third time I stayed here , this time was exceptional stayed in the James Bond suite absolutely love it as a fan of Daniel Craig comfortable very clean huge room parking right outside great position to get to beach . Will definitely be going back staff lovely and friendly and so helpful
