Amazing stay

This is a new hotel about 10 minutes drive from kotor bay. The hotel is exavtly as the pics. Warm recrption,friendly and helpful. Very close to Tiv airport and booking comes with free airport transfers to TIV. I had the penthouse and it was really nice with the Jacuzzi. Breaskfast was 5/10. Can be better but service was really good. Please change the coffee too bitter. I will definitely stay here again.

Nice staff, good food, beautiful view, great room and facilities. The sheets do not fit mattress. Getting there by car was very stressful, there where one line for a two way road.

The hotel was excellent except that it lacked a proper restaurant and the available menu was very limited apart from the breakfast which was good. Perhaps the menu would have been more extensive if we had gone in high season. The place is quite isolated with no bars or restaurants within walking distance, a hire car is essential. Overall a great place.

Got off on the wrong footing. The family suite booked had been given to another family. Offered two adjouning rooms. No alternative. After that hotel good and staff friendly. Breakfast really good. Pool excellent. Short drive to local towns but ok with that. Very clean hotel.

Although it seems to be a new hotel, the standard of cleanliness was not on par. Surfaces like light switches were dusty. Even the chandelier at reception was very dusty. The shower was really grimy in the corners and on the tiles. The telephone and usb port did not work. The food was terrible. Staff was friendly.

Do not recommend at all. The staff are useless and inexperienced. We asked for a hair dryer on Monday and got it Thursday. They refused to give us an omelette for breakfast because they said they don’t make them, however we saw other people being given one. We also ordered 3 bottles of wine throughout the week, the waiter said they are €12 each. When we checked out, the receptionist said €20 per bottle because the prices had updated the day of checkout. We refused to pay the extra. We had to wait 2 days for toilet roll. It’s a shambles to be honest, overpriced for what you get. The rooms are nice but that’s it. They told us the chef walked out 2 days ago so there’s no dining or restaurant. This wasn’t ideal. Honestly want a refund to be honest.

I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights with my husband. Hotel is in the middle of no-where so considered this when booking. Pros- clean, Maria at front desk was very helpful. Pictures are the same. Cons- the rest of the hotel staff were not very helpful (especially front desk), quite disorganised, we were promised a transfer to pick us up from the airport upon arrival and this did not happen. The rooms won’t be cleaned after 3pm. We had a broken toilet seat which was not replaced. Breakfast was not good, not many hot options to choose from, eggs were tasteless, coffee from the machine was very bitter, orange juice boxes were poured into a freshly squeezed orange machine (quite deceitful), breakfast room was full of flies and wasps which was very off putting ( maybe staff should close the doors to avoid insects coming in and surrounding the food). Overall the hotel has a lot of potential to be great but a lot of things need to be worked on

I booked this hotel based on excelent reviews, however my experience was not even good. I booked a king suite, but when we arrived at the hotel they took us to a basic room with sofa bed. When I said that this is not the room I paid for, the lady from the reception just said "I know, the room you have booked is not available. It has been double booked". So they tried to put us in much cheaper room, and that did not suceed. Then they upgarded the room to a double bedroom suite. And there it began...it took a while to get it unlocked, the room was not in good condition - several wholes in the walls, fillers on the walls in different places, dirty fingerprints on the balcony glass door, no towels or bath matt, and NO WIFI and TVs did not work. I did not expect to arrive to this. When I adressed the issues at the reception, the receptionists were quite rude. They gave us two big bath towels after 4 hours after check in, no robs, no bath matt. The shower door was hanging half way attached to the frame. Next day I spoke to the hotel manager, her answers were shocking - that nothing is perfect in life, life is full with problems, but she will ask tecnicians to check the wifi issues. No apologies, nothing. They offered us to downgrade the room which in my view was not acceptable. We stayed two nights with no interent or TVs we could watch. The only nice staff was a cleaning lady who at least was bothered to help out with some stuff. 2. Both pools are nice, breakfest quite basic.

Disappointing Stay – Serious Maintenance and Servi

Our experience at this property was unfortunately far below expectations, and I’ll be seeking reimbursement due to multiple issues throughout our stay. By Day 2, we had no Wi-Fi, no lighting on the stairway, and the elevators were completely out of order, creating major health and safety concerns. I booked the Penthouse Suite specifically for the jacuzzi, yet the boiler system failed — only two minutes of hot water followed by ten minutes of cold. Completely unacceptable for a premium room. The keycard system constantly malfunctioned — sometimes it worked, other times it wouldn’t register at all. The breakfast was always served cold, and the restaurant dinner was inedible. We ordered chicken which was undercooked and unsafe to eat. When I raised this with the waitress, she insisted it was “cooked that way” and refused to even check it herself, as well as denying a refund. This stay was extremely disappointing and not reflective of the standard the hotel advertises. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and provides an appropriate resolution.

The only reason I’m giving this place two stars is because of the condition and appearance of the accommodation itself – it looked quite nice. Unfortunately, the service did not match the price at all. We received no help or useful information during our stay. There were stink bugs all over the room when we arrived, and we had to start by removing them ourselves. Breakfast was delayed, and the only explanation we got was to “wait.” The pool was very cold, making it hard to enjoy. We had booked a slightly more expensive room with a kitchen, but there were only two glasses available – you would expect at least a few more basic items. Parking was also poorly organized; you have to park on a slope if there’s space. On the positive side, the view of the mountains was really beautiful.

Fräscha rum men saknades mycket i skåp i kök. Fanns 2 glas och 2 koppar I övrigt satt förra årets julsaker kvar och mycket runt poolen var trasigt såsom parasoller. Bra upplevelse!

Vi hade en bra upplevelse på Lodges. Personalen var super trevliga och tillmötesgående. Poolen var ren och fin och det var en otrolig utsikt som är oförglömlig. Det som var mindre bra var att lakanet var för små för sängen vilket gjorde att man ibland sov på madrassen. Frukosten var oftast slut och det kunde ta tid för påfyllning och ibland så fylldes maten inte på. Det gick inte att äta frukost ute vid poolen då man blev störd av massor av getingar. Utöver det hade vi som sagt en bra upplevelse och skulle kunna tänka oss komma tillbaka.

Schöne Anlage

Die Lage und der Ausblick ist toll. Parkplätze vor der Tür. Zwei tolle Pools. Es gab einen Roséwein inklusive, den wir auf unserer schönen Terrasse getrunken haben. Die Küche kann man nicht nutzen weil es keinerlei Töpfe etc. gibt. Das Frühstück war nicht sonderlich und an einigen Stellen scheint die Anlage noch nicht ganz fertig zu sein.

Overrated hotel

The hotel is highly overrated. It looks much better on the photos then in live. The service is poor. I tried to contact the hotel few days before our arrival, nobody answered the phone, they didn't respond to mail or whatsup message. The rooms are spacious but could be cleaner. The breakfast is poor and the pool seems a little bit dirty. Also, some of the hotel areas are still under construction. The road that leads to the hotel is very narrow and you should be very careful, especially with big car.

Mediocre

I had really mixed feelings about my stay and was very worried leading up to the trip based on the reviews I was starting to see come through. As far as location, while it was annoying to be reliant on a taxi I did like that it was a bit of an escape from the touristy and high traffic old town and enjoyed having a pool to come back to each day, if you want to be able to walk to dinner and be close to old town this hotel is not for you. The food was very mediocre and I didn’t even touch breakfast as it didn’t look very good. Staff was nice, not overly friendly but not rude. Room was very spacious and clean.

I normally never provide reviews but honestly this was one of the worst experiences I have ever had. The staff was dismissive and rude - I am not sure if it was because I am a young female traveller and the guests were families or couples, but everyone else seemed to take priority over me. When it was time to check-in I was given room keys with no information on the amenities, how to contact reception, where to make dinner reservations, etc. The only reason I figured it out was because I overheard this information being shared with others checking in at the same time. The room was thrown together and half of the in room amenities were broken. The bed was uncomfortable and didn't have any sheets on the mattress. The cherry on top... I heard crickets in my room during the night. The next morning I brought some of my breakfast to my room so I could eat it later, when I tried to eat it I was greeted by 50+ ants crawling all over the food and counters. It was disgusting. Also their website claims to have room service but it did not exist when I tried to order (which by the way I needed to contact their main telephone number on WhatsApp because their phones didn't have a call sheet for hotel amenities) and their "taxi service" is 15 euros but I seemed to be charged 25 every time. Overall I am glad I only stayed one night but I regret it. I think Kotor is better off done as a day trip from a near by country and I wouldn't recommend it to people travelling from outside of Europe.

Hotellet sin fasade og bassengområde er fantastisk. Med litt betre fokus på reinhald og service, så hadde opphaldet vore meget bra i staden for bra. Obs på at dei siste fire kilometerane, frå hovedvegen og inn, knapt kan kallast veg då det omtrent kun knapt er plass til ein bil, og det kjem bilar i mot i høg fart (og eg er vandt til smale vestlandsvegar i Norge!)

Dessverre skuffet over oppholdet

Dessverre så ser Montenegro Lodge bedre ut på bildene og i beskrivelsen enn i virkeligheten. Rommet vårt var fint og med gode senger. Bassengområdene er også fine, men i nedre basseng ble både bikini og lyst hår grønt av vannet. Lokasjonen er for såvidt fin med kort vei til flyplass, Kotor og Kotor Cable Car, og det er flott utsikt. Ellers bærer det preg av å ikke være helt ferdig flere steder. Servicen er dessverre dårlig både fra front desk - der satt de mest i telefonen eller var ute og røyket- og resten av personalet, da du må etterspørre ting flere ganger før det blir gjort og alt går veldig sakte. Virker som personalet har lite erfaring. Frokosten var også skuffende og ingen bassengbar eller servering ved basseng når vi var der. Restauranten var ikke åpen for lunsj en dag, og neste dag måtte kokken ha pause 30 min etter restauranten hadde åpent hvor vi også måtte vente med å bestille mat. Ikke så mye annet rundt hotellet, så ikke så lettvint når slikt skjer uten noen form for beskjed til gjester. Det manglet også så enkle ting som toalettpapir på alle toaletter i løpet av dagen alle dager. Her vil vi ikke bestille igjen, og oppholdet var dessverre ikke verdt prisen vi betalte. Stedet har potensiale som flere nevner, men da må de ta til seg tilbakemeldingene.

Estadia ruim. A água do chuveiro fica fria muito rapidamente. Muito longe de Kotor e estrada extremamente perigosa. Travesseio duro. Travesseiro duro. Tivemos problema no cafe da manha. Mas hotel novo.
