Location is great. Cleanliness left a lot to be desired. Cutlery and plates etc weren’t particularly clean. No hand soap. Needed to ask for new door codes three times over our three night stay. Not the best.

Spacious
Stayed a few times in different epic hotels this time it was duke street townhouse the room was big lots of space , beds were comfy only one complaint it was far too hot even with the windows open not sure if air con was working ,myself and my husband had headaches in the morning from the heat apart from that it was a fab place too stay

Comfortable, clean & excellent location.
Very comfortable & clean, also surprisingly quiet considering how near to central Liverpool.
2 points that let it down slightly were:- 1) Fire doors on every door, we didn't like this as felt cut off from each other. 2) TV had no digital/freeview channels so was dependant on signing into streaming apps using our own account(s).
Overall was a good stay, location is excellent.

Fab night out
We had difficulty in contacting persons as when we arrived there was no key in the key box
We then had an issue with the main toilet not flushing
The property was outstanding and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay again

The room had no heat on a cold night and the tv remote didn’t work (i assume the batteries were dead). I also had to pay to store my luggage for 2 hours at a different hotel.
I will never take another place without a reception.

We were very UNHAPPY about being charged the full fifty pound damage deposit for losing the plastic door fob. Ten pounds might have been reasonable but the entire fifty was very excessive! Especially since we washed all the dishes and left everything the way we found it. MY ADVICE IS TO LEAVE THE KEY FOB IN THE LOCK BOX AND JUST USE THE CODE. The beds were three queens and a 3/4 couch when they had advertised 3 kings and a full. It was decently comfortable, however the stovetop would only cook one thing and then it overheated or something and you had to wait an hour or more to use it again. No cooking utensils, only silverware.

Shocking customer service!
Absolutely shocking. Worst customer service I ever experience in my life. Couldn't get my inside the building in the pouring rain in Liverpool. Contacted them via WhatsApp and they kept repeating the same line that "check in is a 3PM"... that's fine with me, but don't let your clients in the rain for 2 hours. No place for luggage, no reception, and just rude and unprofesionnal service.
Big thank you to to Hotels.com who were incredible in trying to resolve the situation, but that "hotel" wasn't changing their position.
Avoid at all cost if you plan to arrive before 3PM as they are absolutely not fit to run a hotel or any business that deal with clients, even more business clients.
