My girlfriend arrived at the hotel one day before I did. Although I had already made the deposit online, the hotel staff insisted that no deposit had been made and refused to let her check in unless she paid it herself. She had to call me multiple times so I could speak with the manager and try to resolve the issue, which was incredibly frustrating.
When I arrived the next day, the situation got worse. I had booked the largest suite the hotel offered, but the manager told me I couldn’t stay there because the room only allowed three guests. I asked if I could just pay for an extra person, but he insisted I had to book a completely separate room—even though I was willing to pay the difference. It made no sense, but I had no choice.
To top it all off, when we were checking out, the bell boys rushed us out of the room, didn’t help with our luggage, and escorted us to the lobby as if we were criminals. It was a humiliating and disappointing experience from start to finish.
I will never stay at this hotel again, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.
