Property was amazing! Clean with a beautiful garden perfect for drinking coffee on in the morning. In walking distance to multiple great spots for food and markets. I also took pictures of the room and restroom for inspiration in my own home. Ill be back by end of year!

The location is perfect—nestled in the heart of this charming neighborhood, it offers easy access to the vibrant markets, parks, and cultural landmarks. The rooms are cozy, clean, and thoughtfully designed, with beautiful touches that reflect the local art and culture. I particularly appreciated the peaceful courtyard, a serene space to relax after a day of exploring. Overall, Hotel Alebrijes exceeded my expectations. It’s a wonderful blend of charm, comfort, and hospitality. I would absolutely stay here again on my next visit to Coyoacán!

This hotel was formerly a private residence. It is elegant and has a beautiful garden. Each room has a different theme based on an Alebrije. The hotel is well appointed. It’s very quiet at night with an occasional siren or barking dog. There are double paned windows so you can barely hear the sound. The neighborhood is very charming and walkable with many places to eat nearby. This is considered to be the oldest neighborhood of Mexico City. The staff is very friendly and attentive. There is complimentary coffee and tea all day. There is also a breakfast service but we chose not to eat at the hotel. There were individually boxed cereals (very high in sugar), some fruit, coffee, tea and I believe bread. For an additional charge, there are some hot dishes that can be ordered from the kitchen. My recommendation would be to add plain yogurt, granola and nuts and a selection of cheese.

Good stay, fantastic location, felt very safe. Great AC, not too much interaction with staff. There are stairs, no elevator. If that had been known I would have found elsewhere as I was with my father and this was difficult for him. The bathroom was very small and cramped. Beds were not great.
