CitizenM St Patrick’s hotel - thumbs up

Excellent location near St Patrick’s cathedral and not far from major attractions. The hotel is brand new and staff very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great and coffee options plentiful. The dinner menu could be expanded a bit in case you do not want to leave the hotel

Quiet even being next door to Garda station. Staff friendly and helpful. Close enough to walk to attractions or use public transportation to venture further abroad.

CitizenM is a great place to stay in Dublin.

The room was small but well designed. The staff were very friendly, helpful and professional. They were the best part of our stay. The buffet breakfast was delicious. The lobby and bar provided a comfortable place to hang out with family and friends. The hotel is centrally located close to shops, resaurants and St. Patrick's Cathedral and public park. The Dublin Airport Express bus stopsfor rides to and from the airport were a very short walk from the hotel.

Really liked this hotel from check in to out. It’s high tech … check yourself in and out, everything in the room is controlled from a iPad. The rooms are small and minimalist, perfect for a couple. There’s no room service, but there is a bar with food service. The location is great.. right behind St Patrick’s and about 15 mins walk to Temple Bar area. Plenty of buses around the corner on Whitefriar St (the 16 bus goes right to DUB … just over and hour and @ €2.60 ). Really liked the staff and whole atmosphere of this hotel.

The service and friendliness of the staff was excellent! check in was easy. They had an issue with their key card system, so we were slightly delayed getting into our rooms but the manager comped us with some free beverages while we waited. The rooms are small but comfortable, think cruise ship style. The bathroom/shower area is not exactly its own separate sound-proof room... so hopefully you are comfortable with whoever you are sharing the room with :-). The Breakfast was very good, but not included.

Perfect location to St Patrick’s Cathedral in a quiet area, close to the city center without all the hustle of the tourists. New modern hotel with room control app from an iPad and/or the convenience of your phone. Everything was brand new in the room, down to the sheets and soap bottle. No funny smell, everything nice and clean. The room is on the smaller side and the bathroom might lack a little bit of privacy but it wasn’t a problem for my husband and me. All of the hotel staff were extremely welcoming and helpful with recommendations.

Overall lovely new hotel

10/10 for such happy attentive staff! Overall lovely presented, clean, quirky hotel! However the hotel has recently opened, this came with a few teething problems such as a lack of liquor license in the bar so only wine and soft drinks available,I am sure this will be solved in time. Staying during the July heatwave we were impressed with the climate control in the room and just how cool it kept the space however the aircon unit did begin to leak water from the ceiling onto the floor and side table - luckily we had no belongings underneath. Finally, we booked with breakfast however in comparison to other hotels and the cost of €19 I would not include breakfast in future when comparing to what you could get for the same price in a local cafe,pub - it has enough to fill your belly but only 4 hot (warm) options (tomatoes, scrambled egg, sausage and bacon) again this may be planned to be expanded as the hotel gains pace and visitors.

I loved this property! It was a great location, only an 8 minute walk to the main area where the bars are but not in the crazy part so it was quiet and clean. I would honestly give it 5 stars all around and I was informed they just opened s few weeks ago.. but we had an incident. We came back to the hotel one night around 10pm after getting pizza and a bottle of wine to share in the lobby because I had my parents with me in another room and someone from the hotel informed me we were not allowed to eat in the lobby (although they were not serving food). I tried to explain we wanted to all be together and the rooms are too small for all 4 of us to be in one room let alone all sit together. This women was rude and didn't care or even explain why the policy was this way, she just kept saying its a policy. I used to work in a hotel and as the front desk staff so I am usually VERY understanding but this simply made no sense. I feel like there should have been a sign or it should be made known. This turned me off to staying there and would probably not stay here again for this reason.

Comfortable stay - the room was compact, but had everything that was needed and well thought out solutions to things. I loved that the blackout blind meant the room was perfectly dark so I could get a good sleep. The only thing that I thought could be improved was that the bathroom pod door didn't close propery, and kept opening - not ideal when you are not a solo traveller.

Airport shuttle stop was close by. Great area to get around from. St. Stephen’s Green was our landmark. This is a hotel of fading elegance. Be aware there is a nightclub on the premises but ear plugs were provided.

Purtroppo mi sono ammalato il giorno stesso della partenza per Dublino e, nonostante il contratto non prevedesse rimborsi, ho provato a contattare la struttura sia direttamente che tramite Hotels.com per segnalare la situazione e chiedere se fosse possibile un gesto di comprensione, magari in vista di una futura riprogrammazione del soggiorno. Purtroppo non abbiamo ricevuto alcuna risposta personale: solo una comunicazione generica, senza disponibilità al dialogo. Comprendiamo che non ci fosse un obbligo formale, ma un minimo di attenzione avrebbe fatto la differenza. Peccato, perché eravamo intenzionati a tornare da loro in occasione del prossimo viaggio.
