We had a very good and relaxing experience. The pond with waterfall and walking the fence line were wonderful. Clean rooms just the right size. The decking around upper level made for a nice place for coffee in the morning and pizza in the evening. A truly tranquil place.

Worn out and outdated. Had to wear ear plugs because ac was so loud. Toilet seat was like siting on a 5 gallon bucket. And on and on.

The heated pool was pretty cold. Heat needed to be turned up dryer in the bathroom didn’t work. Bed was uncomfortable. Very firm and pillows were flat room is really small no table or anything window air-conditioning but it had beautiful scenery and easy handicap accessible overall.

If I could give this place a rating of 100 for cleanliness I would! Other guests commented the same. I didn't spot one cobweb or dirty corner anywhere, inside or out. That to me is priority. The pool was also sparkling clean and heated. Still a little chill but nothing unbearable. I was there the 1st week of June. The staff was amazing. Very helpful when needed. The bed was comfy. The little areas dotted along the property with campfires ready to light, were a nice touch. I spent my mornings on the swing by the pond with my coffee, listening to the waterfall across the way. I loved this place! I do have to say, however, dont expect anything fancy. Its pretty "old school". Rooms are plain and aged some. Could use a few more tables within the rooms to put stuff on. No pictures on the walls, so didnt feel "cozy", but clean and functional. That would be my only gripe. Nicely located so day trips to other towns like Saugatuck, Holland and Grand Haven were within a 15 -50 minutes drive. Grand Haven State Park is definitely worth going to. Beaches were beautiful. I will def be returning next year for another relaxing long weekend. Maybe stay a few days longer! 😉

The room that we had was small but in the quaint comfy way, outside amenities (pond, pool, walking trail, picnic tables) were very nice. Great stay for an affordable price for those not planning on their adventure being the hotel itself.
