Are you kidding me??!!!

Would not go back. Closet doors falling off. No dressers for clothes. Lightning was poor and unsafe. Our room was shared with another room which was separated by a hollow core door. We could hear everything our neighbors were saying and they weren’t loud. The smell of their cooking came in under our door and smelled up our unit.

Hidden gem in the middle of the east shore bay

Hidden gem between Kailua and the north shore this resort will make you feel like you are far away from civilization yet it’s only 25 min drive to Lanikai and other beautiful beaches. Kris at reception gave us a ton of suggestions most of which we hit and were eternally grateful. She also kindly upgraded us to a room with a view which we very much appreciated. Do note however that most likely you’d spend most of the time outside driving around the island. We enjoyed daily yoga classes with Sophia on a deck facing the bay and beautiful mountains. It was majestic and allowed your body to readjust after driving all day. The only confusing part was cleaning. Due to pandemic the resort negotiated with maintenance staff that there will be limited cleaning and no entry into the rooms 24 hours after guests leave. This means if you bring sand from the beach to your room you’d need to clean it yourself. I am pretty sure it’s specific to the timing of our visit.

Wonderful boutique-style resort with amazing views

We really enjoyed our stay. The suite was great and had an amazing view of the mountains and bay. Beds were comfy and the rooms and bathrooms were clean and had plenty of space for storage. The kitchen was appropriately stocked for simple cooking (e.g. breakfast/snacks); including a coffee maker and toaster. The resort has adjusted to COVID well. Amenities were available by appointment. We enjoyed the pool, kayaking and yoga with Sophia. All of the staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Thank you for helping make our trip memorable.

Not Resort standard

We stayed a few nights at Waikiki, thought to get away from busy noisy waikiki. We did not have good experience here - Main complaint was the guy next door cough a lots. He didn’t self quarantine. Was in and out of his room. We can hear their conversation. He was pissed slamming the door, cursing etc. I told the resort lady via phone and decided to skip the “grab and go” breakfast, because the coughing neighbor went to grab his breakfast as well. We shared the same stairway, I tried not to grab the rail but it was slippery from the rain. - the front desk guy didn’t make us feel welcome. I did not like the tone of his voice - the couch and coffee table feel cheap. The coffee table move with slight touch - the refrigerator also move and slide as we open and close the door. - the big deck missing a table. - no carpet just hardwood floor, so expect to hear the noise from people walking and talking upstairs and neighbor. - it was raining when we were there. No floor mats. Balcony have puddles of water. We put towels to wipe our wet feet. - they simple fold your dirty towel back To me, this is not Resort standard. The extra $45 a day of resort fee when check-in should be absorbed by them, not the guests. The photos looks better the it actual is. This place is small. Kind of disappointed.
