Booking a weekend away and really looking forward to it, food was the best part of the weekend. It was truly delicious.
The hotel room you couldn’t swing a cat in the bathroom, the shower was terrible. Then on Friday night to be in the entertainment room to getting up and going to the bar/toilets, to have to step over shake and vac and Hoover wires and watching cleaners hoovering up at 9:50 on a Friday night is not my idea of a good night out. It’s absolutely stupid, upon arrival at the hotel room we were shown that entertainment room so we could choose a table and it was completely empty why didn’t they clean it then? To be honest it’s been very poor, the entertainment we was told was supposed to be one of the best hotels, and from just staying at the Lyndene in February the entertainment they put on is unreal, this hotel the Viking just like the Claremont is the worst entertainment ever, very poor. Thankgod Blackpool has non stop entertainment cause for what we paid in the Viking was disappointing and I for one will never return. It’s got the potential to be so much better, maybe you should look around at what people want…. Poor, disappointing and expensive definitely not returning….
