I was wondering why the name says "Sequoia Village" without having the word "hotel" in it. I learned after I checked in that this is not a hotel. It is a time-share apartment complex managed by a property manager. The rooms are: a) Nasty: - carpet was smelly and probably hasn't been changed in 40 years. - wood floor hasn't been replaced in probably 70 years. - They most likely allow pets to live there. b) Very old (my guess the apartment complex was built around Word War II). Stay away. c) They ask you to download their App to check in after 9 pm but there is no cell phone service around the hotel to download the App. Go figure! Luckily we arrived right before 9 pm or we would have had to sleep in our car!

Das Motel ist in die Jahre gekommen. Alles alt. Zimmer sehr klein. Zum Teil nicht sauber, siehe Foto. Die Bewertung stimmt sicher nicht!!! Ich würde da ein 4 vom 10 Punkten geben. Preis total überrissen!! Eine Frechheit, in Vegas habe ich eine Suite gehabt für diesen Preis. Das Motel kann nicht empfohlen werden!

Staff is nice, amenities are nice with the kitchen and game room. The issue? Sleeping. The sliding glass front doors are frosted but let in a ton of light from outside lights and the moon if it’s full. Blackout curtains are too small and don’t cover the width of the front doors in total. I was up half the night. I wanted to rate two stars but the truth is if you are comfortable wearing an eye mask it’s a 4.

We were excited for our stay but were disappointed when we entered our room by the snell of urine in the living room. I notified the front desk and they went into immediate action. While we left the room to explore the park the hotel staff replaced the sofa in the living room. They were amazing.

This hotel offers a range of amenities that—while appearing simple at first glance—are highly practical: for instance, a small but well-equipped communal kitchen, a barbecue area complete with a grill and comfortable seating, as well as a game room. The hotel staff is very welcoming. The hotel is located approximately 4 miles from the entrance to Sequoia National Park.

Coffee maker has mold in the water container. Balcony did not seem safe and curtains on the slider only covered 3/4’s of the sliding door. The other two windows has no curtains at all. Also, very difficult to find since the address to the location is not correct. Had to ask another hotel how to find this property.

Great location and pet friendly Sequoia Village is a great place to stay if you’re visiting Sequoia National Park. The location is very convenient and close to the park entrance, which made it easy for us to explore the area. We also appreciated that the property is pet friendly with no pet fee, which is a big plus when traveling with dogs. The front desk staff was very nice and helpful during our stay. Unfortunately, the only issue we experienced was that there was no hot water for the shower, which was disappointing. Aside from that, the stay was pleasant and the location and pet-friendly policy are definitely highlights.

This location is just the magical mini getaway that I needed… I cannot wait to come back for a longer trip with the family. A comfortable space to sleep with a access to a shared kitchen, community game room and so many other amenities make it a one of a kind find. My favorite part was walking down to the river to enjoy my morning coffee. :)

Upon arrival staff was very welcoming and friendly. Requested a room with an outside seating area and staff was able to accommodate us with an available room. It had a small but clean porch with a sitting area. The room had a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, stove and sink. With a lot of kitchen ware on hand. Room was clean and spacious. Had a sitting area with the tv. The hotel had a game room and a communal kitchen for the rooms that did not have one. Walk to river front and close to restaurants. Staff was helpful and checked on up whenever we were seen. Will definitely stay again.

We had a really clean room; however, the restroom was a little outdated. The shower head, especially, was placed in a very weird way, so showering was uncomfortable. The overall quietness of the hotel was lovely; everyone abided by the quiet hours.
