This was a safe place at a good price. It's best for returning visitors though, who already know the system in getting around the island by boat, and are comfortable with local setting. The managers are friendly but don't take hospitality to the level where they will take care of you, and make sure you can find the place (our fault for not speaking the local language!). Not right on the beach but we enjoyed having coffee at the coffee shop of the resort nearby. The information on hotels.com was not correct-- the phone number went nowhere, the name was different locally (makes it hard to find), and I eventually was able to call the place before we arrived but only by doing internet search.
