Cheap and nice

If you are travelling alone on a tight budget, this hostel is for you. It's very close to most of the railway stations (15 mins walk) and the shopping malls. Rooms are clean. And most importantly, breakfasts are included with that low price. I think it's not bad for a trip in which you spend most of your time outside. The washroom is considerably clean, though it's located outside of the room. For the disadvantages, the bed sheets are not very clean, or at least you cannot feel its acceptable cleanness. The blanket is ready for deep winter. So I couldn't use it at all during my stay (July). I have heard from some residents that since this hostel is considerably cheap in Birmingham, a substantial proportion of stayers are workers in the construction sites or warehouse nearby. Some of them have already formed a group. For travellers who plan to make millions of friends, you may want to know this ahead.

Just a bit noisy in the night

Breakfast included so the price worth. The hostel is generally clean and tidy. The maintenance was done very fast that when some facilities is damaged, they fix it quicky. The only thing is a bit noisy in the night that music could be heard in the room throughput the night.

The lady Indian receptionist was the nicest I have ever met. The breakfast is generous. Everything is super clean. The location is great. The owner is efficient and friendly.

I stayed at a property with the same name, in the same location and had been avoiding this place since that bad experience but after seeing pics online figured I'd try it. And I couldn't have been more surprised! The place I stayed at before was nasty dingey twisting little place with rude staff that felt like sleeping in someone's druggy cousins spare room. This was a very professional and modern hostel with all the convenient amenities you could need and well designed and implemented rooms. The bunks are comfortable and provide great privacy with their curtains. There are lockers for each bed, both the beds and lockers are labelled. The kitchen and lounge were both fine. There are big communal bathrooms, toilets and showers on each level. My only con was that the hot water went out in the middle of my shower and I had to run downstairs to the main bathrooms to finish my shower. But other than that I had a great experience here and would definitely stay again.

Private room for 2 in good condition. Shared bathroom not always ideal but it was okay. We spent one night and it was fine. The street where it is can be a bit creepy at night but we had no issues at all. Breakfast is very simple but free.

Great price, good facilities.

For the price it was everything you would expect. It was clean and plenty of showers / toilets that were all clean. Staff were friendly. Obviously it is a shared dorm and hostel, so people may come and go at all hours of the day and night.

Nice hostel

Nice little hostel if on a stop over, I've noticed people stay here long term too. Hard to tell who staff are as they all wear plain clothes and they are not the most attentive, they can leave you at the reception desk for ages, aware you are there but not serving you : (

Great value for money

This is a cheap hostel which is well used and a little shabby .However the staff work hard to provide a good service . Fee WiFi , free breakfast and luggage storage included . Also help yourself beverages is better than many more expensive hotels . Use of kitchen . Close to the Digbeth Coach station and Birmingham City Centre.

Acceptable

Le point positif de cet hotel est qu’en terme de rapport/qualité/prix, il est imbattable. Cependant, sa localisation reste problématique car il y a trop de bruit surtout quand la boite de nuit ouvre ses portes car cela peut durer toute la journée voir la nuit entière donc bon courage pour ceux qui ne prévoient pas de boules quies. En dehors de ça, le ménage est fait quotidiennement contrairement à ce qu’on peut lire, mais cela dépend bien évidemment des personnes qui y logent. Le petit déjeuné est complet et le staff est super accueillant. Il vous faudra juste accéder à un autre batiment pour pouvoir en profiter! Bon séjour
