Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway

What a lovely quiet place - great location, spotless well furnished rooms, comfy beds. Beautiful pool/sauna/hot tub area with nice outdoor vista. We didn't eat onsite but had cocktails at the bar, which were expertly made and delicious. And of course in the beautiful surroundings of Woodstock!

The plane had potential, but...

Check in was sub par as front desk clerk was on the phone handling personal matters as I was trying to check in, and he was rather curt and rude. Room wasn't thoroughly clean on arrival. Purified water machine was broken and inoperable on 2nd floor and the one on the ground floor had a large puddle of water below it. Wifi wasn't working initially and though I notified the front desk of both issues, he didn't seem particularly interested in resolving either one. 24/7 service phone continued to ring work no answer. Great location though.

Perfect Weekend Escape

We had a wonderful weekend away here! The Inn is beautiful, charming/well decorated, has fabulous amenities (hot tub, pool, sauna, game room with arcades, lovely library, outdoor firepit, etc.) stunning views of the river, comfortable rooms and includes an incredible complementary breakfast. Hands down one of the best hotel breakfasts we've ever had. Staff was friendly and went out of our way to make sure we had everything we needed. It's only a quick 3 minute drive to town center, and 506 On The River is a perfect escape in itself, a hidden gem. From complementary smores by the fire at night to the relaxing sauna or a drink at the bar, this is the perfect spot for families or couples. We will definitely be back!

Great location but they were in renovations. it would have been best to have know that prior to arriving. They were not able to accommodate a late check out and unable to book a table at the restaurant on the first night.

Great property with lots of nice extras- buffet breakfast, heated towel rack, library with pool table, filtered water and bottles for your room. Large room with sitting area. Our room safe did not work despite the staff trying hard to repair which was a bit of a pain as it was very cold and we had to keep our electronics in the car despite being assured no one would enter our room- we were given no other option. Hot tub could definitely be hotter but the sauna was great after a cold day on the slopes. We will be back, staff was fantastic and friendly.

This has been a disappointing stay. The reception at the desk was unfriendly and terse. The hot jacuzzi tub was tepid and when I asked at reception to turn the temperature up I was told no and a story about their humidity control system. A hot tub should be hot. The room is nice but otherwise I’d recommend trying another inn in Woodstock. Disappointing.

The property is nice, the common area Bistro, breakfast, library has a great vibe. Our room was spacious and shower good pressure and heat. Grounds very pretty. But...if you are adults w/o kids you may think twice. 3 diff folks at checkout asked same as we did...can you have some adult-only hours at jacuzzi. Response was we cannot control other people's children, we've tried and cannot. That makes me think others have asked the same thing. I know its more the parents then the Inn staff but it was hard to ignore them running amok.

Terrible stay

We would not stay at this hotel again. Starting with the bed sheets being dirty. Their is no housekeeping after 2 pm. I had to walk to the reception twice to get it myself. Twice because the second set was dirty too, and there was no phone in the room.There was not even an apology or any kind of courtesy. They hotel claims to be a 4 star, i doubt that now. Breakfast had very poor options. Nothing tasty. The only nice thing about this hotel is the decor.

A fantastic stay!

This hotel was fantastic! I will say, the hot tub was a warm tub so I wish that was a bit hotter but it was fantastic after a day of skiing. The happy hour with the bartender was so fun and the breakfast was perfection. The beds are comfortable and we just loved everything!
