The whole place was stunning, spotlessly clean and the staff were so helpful and friendly. The view from our bedroom window of the Duomo was spectacular. We would definitely stay here again if we returned to Florence.

Floor standing air conditioning in room was both bulky and noisy. Self-service coffee at breakfast difficult to operate when communication with staff was difficult. Otherwise our stay was fine and the location of the property excellent.

We were blown away by the customer service here. From the communication in advance of our stay, to the extremely helpful desk staff, every effort was made to help us have an incredible stay. The location is excellent, even though the street gets innocently rowdy at night. We also adored the terrace that overlooks the duomo and so much more. Our room itself was quaint and clean.

Staff was very friendly and responsive when we thought we would miss our check in time and worked with us on how to access their facility after hours! They also helped with securing a taxi. Location was great. Loved learning about the history of the property. Great selection of breakfast items to get your day started. Short walks to the Accamedia and Duomo Dome. Best views of the city and sunsets from their roof top terrace! Would stay here again!

The check-in at 3 p.m. was very efficient, however, if you arrive into Florence earlier, there is nobody at reception before that time for you to leave your bags. The breakfast was very nice, all self-service, but everything was left out nicely. The roof terrace is open at night which is lovely to go and sit after dinner and have the Duomo right in front of you, amazing! The only thing I would suggest is to have lights on the terrace at night and also some cushions for the chairs.

We stayed on the ground floor to the back of the property, which gives you extra outdoor space. Beautiful character and very peaceful. 5-10 mins walk to the Duomo and in a vibrant neighbourhood. The roof terrace for breakfast was exellent and the views were sublime. Highly reccomend.

This hotel is in a building that has so much character and old world charm that it felt like we were staying in a museum! It was very clean, well kept and had the friendliest/helpful staff. They had a lovely breakfast which you could eat in one of the many dining areas or on the roof top terrace with the most amazing views! The location is perfect as it is walkable to many of the city attractions and a 20 minute walk to the train station. I highly recommend this hotel!

Wasn’t modern but liked the style, kept the windows open and was enjoyable. Location was excellent. Noisy due to bar down the street all night long, but didn’t hear it with windows closed. Very nice rooftop area and a great view of the city.
