This was a great location to enjoy the Hakone region. The rooms have a beautiful view of the tree covered hills (really wonderful with the fall colors). The food was really good and all the various hot spring options were fun. Need to go more than one day to see it all. Definitely worth the trip.

Beautiful hotel and grounds. Very peaceful setting. Excellent customer service. Our 4th floor room with hot tub was quiet and had a lovely view of the fall leaves.

Absolutely loved the onsens. Especially the larger one with the sauna and cold plunge. The free treats in the room, after onsen, and after dinner were such a special touch really enjoyed our stay.

Facility is impeccable and makes you feel you are in an authentic onset experience, even if like me you have never had one lol. Quiet and calm stay after Tokyo and Hakone Open Air Museum was just down the street which was an amazing experience as well. Shuttle to station after stay and some interesting drinks in lobby to sample.

Great staff, delicious meals, totally luxurious room with a private onsen and mountain view. The shuttle to the train was very convenient. I delayed my next trip to stay longer here. The next time I’m in Hakone, I’ll be back.

Excellent! The hotel is beautiful. The staff are extremely welcoming and kind. Their service alone made the stay amazing. The room was very spacious and clean. My room had an open air bath on the balcony which was stunning. So nice to relax in the bath during the evening with a gorgeous view. The private onsen are pure bliss and so relaxing. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it for all travelers!

This property was so thoughtful designed. The onsens were a wonderful experience and free beverages and after onsens treats were so thoughtful. Also, the kaiseki dinner was delicious and beautiful. I loved being able to walk around the hotel in the pajamas that were provided.

A beautiful stay and wonderful onsen- we opted for a private onsen thankfully as we were never able to get into one of the three private public onsens on site over the course of two days. Note that the area is stunning and very hilly- local restaurants etc close very early and/or have odd days they are open if you venture out.

A+ staff, very friendly. Love the private onsen in our room. Only thing missing is microwave and laundry machine. But it’s not a big deal. I would recommend this to everyone visiting Hakone.
