Torn...

Traveling for business and had a deadline to submit but their wi-fi was down. I spoke to two different front desk men throughout the course of 8 hours, trying to get it situated and had no luck. They were both nice, but not at all sure of how to fix it and didn't really seem as if they were looking in to the issue. The recliner in my suite was broken but they brought a new one in, so that was ok. It wasn't the cleanest, the doors all had dirty handprints all over them and no dishes in the kitchenette were clean, but I just used the microwave. I paid $5 for a freezer burnt popsicle in the little "convenience store", but I guess that's the "convenience" price. I know the front desk workers can't control all the issues, but they were extremely friendly and that goes a long way, I'm definitely torn in my opinion based on their friendliness, but I definitely would have liked to received some sort of compensation for all the issues. I'll definitely try another hotel in this area before returning here, though.

We stayed at this property after and during a snow event. While the parking lot was relatively clear, the sideways and curb access was not as clear of snow as it could be. Our room had a full kitchen/kitchenette which included a full size refrigerator which was very nice but there was only a small top shelf in it - no other shelves were there. The small cooktop met our needs just fine but the room was billed as accommodating 4 people and there was not enough silverware, plates, cups, etc to accommodate 4 people. There were some pots and pans but they were not properly cleaned and had a some bad scorch marks on them that couldn't be removed. There was a long desk/credenza that provided a place to eat but there were not enough chairs for 4 people to sit and eat. The room itself and the property overall was neat and clean. The staff who worked at the front desk were very friendly and welcoming. We also traveled with our two small dogs - which was a major factor in selecting this hotel - and it was wonderful to be able to have our dogs with us and the staff again was super accommodating. The property is in a very transit area which is a good thing - lots of fast food dining options and shopping and easy on/off access to Route 70. Overall we had a pleasant stay and experience

We never stayed at the property after we booked it. I tried to get a refund but candlewood suite in belle vernon lied and said we stayed and refused my refund. I have receipt showing the Airbnb I stayed. Our friend checked in before said hotel was dirty and left to stay else where. Read reviews before you book

Buggy

I guess I should have looked past the 8.2 rating. Upon arrival and 1at glance of the room, appeared decent. 1st issue I had was the sleep sofa didnt have any bedding, when i went to front desk, they stated they didnt have anymore and said the beds should have enough linens, when i explained about sofa she asked how many people were there, when i told her 6, she said they have no rooms to sleep 6, (2 queen beds and sleep sofa that sleeps 2) and advertised as 6. She said if some came out of laundry she would let us know. 2nd issue: when my dughter went to make coffee, and use sugar packet a baby roach crawled out on her. She emptied container and found 12 baby roaches (see pics below). When i complained to front desk, was told could not give discounts but move rooms, or cancel our reservation. Unfortunatley at last minute could not find another place.. had to stay there & was given no discount for inconvenience.

Checked into the first room which was dirty with towels and trash on the floor....2nd room was not cleaned and 3rd room was 2 queens and not the king we booked. At midnight a guest entered our room! 10 minutes later a hotel staffer knocked and tried to get in our room and asked how we checked in???????? Terrible!
