Very uncomfortable. We had three guests in a room with a double bed and a sofa bed. The beds were very uncomfortable, especially the sofa bed—my son actually preferred sleeping on the floor. We requested extra cushions or bedding, but management informed us no options were available

The little town was quite cute, but the hotel was unfortunately quite lacking. The mattresses were paper thin, the lights were very finicky, the shower was tiny with not much flow, and there was no thermostat to change the temperature, so hopefully you can be content with whatever the temperature is. I would also not recommend for families, or really for women. You have to enter through the pub to get your key, and several guys were making eyes and little comments at my wife and daughter.

Nice place! When you arrive at the pub it doesn’t look the best place ever but the rooms are in great condition clean well located and very functional. You access by a separated door so don’t have to get into the pub! Good place! Parking can be tricky as there are only four spaces and they are in high demand always! I didn’t have a problem parking on Saturday afternoon and night! If you want to get good value for your money you are in for a budget option and don’t mind a bit of noise and the pub this is a great option! I would get back certainly!

Registration was cursory. Certainly not rude, just “fill in your details and here’s your key.” No offer of assistance for two seniors to carry suitcases up narrow stairs. No further information offered. Room was adequate. Shower is traditional British style - in a very high narrow tub, very dangerous for seniors in my opinion. Notice in room that no outside food allowed, and may result in an additional charge. Overall good value for money, but more of a two star than a three star hotel.
