"Let’s start with the location - right in the centre with parking for those that stay. The room was perfect, (this is a pub not a hotel). The manager (Wayne) and the bar / beer were just what we wanted. Great breakfast to start the 2 hour walk. Would we stay here again? YES"

"Hotel is situated in well maintained grounds,with lots of parking. Staff friendly and helpful. Room basic,needing updating.Comfortable bed. Great choice àt breakfast time from a hot breakfast,to cereals plus continental,in a lovely room overlooking the grounds at the front of the hotel. New carpet in communal areas badly needed plus redecorating. Having said all that the price was very reasonable,and it is a dog friendly hotel."

"The staff were incredible, helpful, understanding, informative. The hotel itself whilst on a main road, I had a room at the front and didn't hear a thing! I found the beds to be comfy and the queen room to have exactly what I needed and reasonably priced too! Thank you!"
