"The property is very clean and the staff are highly professional! The room was very large and well worth it for the price charged! The bathroom was a huge spa bathroom with a huge bathtub. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Great place to stay if you have limited mobility like I do because the elevators work well. The shuttle service is excellent and prompt. Very pleased with my stay and will return in the near future!"

"I stayed at BlackBrick in total 24 days in 2 separate rooms -- The staff was great, property cleaned daily and the pictures accurately reflect what the room looks like. Although I didn't drive the parking was free for my guests and it is 24/7 monitored by human gate access and seemed to have ample availability. The restaurant/bar was awesome and priced well. They did have an amazing playlist of R&B and Jazz. It was a safe short 10 minute walk to Guatrain and Sandton City / Mandela Square. I even did it at night although it wasn't suggested. This will be my hotel of choice in the future."

"Unfortunately, my stay was disappointing due to several maintenance and service issues. The bathroom sink was clogged, and I couldn’t even brush my teeth without the water backing up, which was extremely unpleasant. The shower head was also not functioning properly, making it difficult to have a proper shower. Additionally, I ordered wings as a snack, and they were quite poor in quality—definitely not what I expected. Overall, these issues significantly affected my experience. I hope the hotel addresses these concerns to improve future guest stays. "

"Staff are very friendly. Property is surprisingly funky with its outdoor decor. Rooms are basic with good quality linen, comfortable bed, lots of hot water, good shower pressure. Towels are a bit sad. No fridge. Very noisy location, particularly from within the property itself. Breakfast was ok. Did not have any other meals on the premises. Scruffy location for where it is situated but quite safe. "
