"After reading the reviews on the hotel I was a little bit worried about my booking there , however check in was friendly and straightforward, the room was spacious and comfortable it was clean and airy the amenities in the room were good fridge iron and ironing board towels bedding were spotless ..the rooms are a bit dated but well presented and the price I paid was the best Around for a Saturday night..it’s just a shirt stroll to town "

"I was in Cardiff for a competition and so only used the room and no other facilities. It was lovely and clean, the toiletries were lovely but it was incredibly hot. Also a couple of biscuits would have been nice with the room refreshments. My husband checked us in and said the staff were all efficient and lovely."

"The lady that checked us in was such a lovely lady (i think her name was Donna) so friendly, absolute pleasure to meet her. Bed was really comfy and breakfast was good. Management, you need to look after staff like her, she is a real asset. "
