"Fine for an overnight stay next to the highway, but disappointing for a Van der Valk hotel. Some good points: easy location, ample free parking, and large rooms with balconies. However this hotel clearly isn’t run to the same high standards as others in the chain. The decor has bumps, scrapes and marks everywhere, and it’s not acceptable to let black mould grow in the shower. "

"Hotel is located next to the autoroute and a couple of mins walk to the l tram to the centre of Ghent. Room was big and clean, and the ongoing renovation works were handled well so didn’t impact our stay. Recommended if you want to explore the city as a stop en route elsewhere."
