"There should be bars or rails in the shower for safety. The kitchen amenities need refreshing. Not enough cutlery etc, and very poor quality. The living room area could use some colour - it is very sterile in appearance. "

"Coldest room we've ever stayed in! Did receive extra blankets and then a portable heater but even with the thermostat set to 30C cold wind blew in from a loose door adjacent to an old balcony.Bathroom facilities were quite old and the hairdryer failed on our last morning. Breakfast was OK and most of the staff apologetic but we will never stay in the Chelsea Hotel again!"

"We didn’t partake in the food options, but initially we thought the room was clean. Second night we found a full ant colony on our floor. There were hundreds of them. Their remedy at the time which was only verbal from the from desk was that our last night ( which we found the ants) would be free and the previous night would be discounted. Come check out, neither of that happened. The front desk stated because this was booked through Expedia they couldn’t do anything but waive the $20/ parking fee. I explained what the night staff had told us, and he was only willing to give me a discount on the last night because we had gotten an upgrade??? To a room with a balcony ?? Me and my daughter left feeling as if our situation was not at all important to the hotel, and that it wasn’t any sort of big deal. Mind you this all happened at 7-8pm, so it would have been very difficult for us to find another hotel. Of note: our “upgraded room” had mould in the shower. This was extremely poor communication between staff. - for verification of the said ant colony, we were able to get two videos showing at length the amount of ants in the room. In fact the evening staff member asked that I airdrop it to his phone. "

"Room seemed outdated. 1 faucet out of our 2 did not work properly. When you would turn it on it would just spray everywhere out of control. Air system was noisy. Walls/wallpaper were not in good condition"

"The stay wasn’t bad overall, but there are a few things to be aware of. The biggest issue is the noise—you’ll definitely want earplugs when you sleep. The airport is literally right next door, so you can hear planes taking off, including the engines, and even the windows rattle at times. The staff was very friendly during check-in, which made a great first impression. However, when we checked out a day early, the receptionist we dealt with was not pleasant at all, which was disappointing. On the positive side, the room was very clean, and the housekeeping staff were kind, helpful, and attentive. The breakfast bar was also a highlight—well set up with good options. A few other things to note: the pool is only about 3–3.5 feet deep and there’s no hot tub. There are no restaurants within walking distance, so you’ll need to drive about 15–20 minutes for food. Also, the hot water in the room only lasts around 20 minutes, so if you’re sharing a room, you’ll need to plan showers accordingly. Parking is available on the property, and it’s well-lit with cameras, which made us feel safe. Overall, aside from the noise and a couple of inconveniences, the stay was okay."
