"Friendly staff. Has a kitchen, feels like living in an apartment "

"This is definitely more of a "motel" than an "inn" and the room definitely have a somewhat dated motel feel. So if you care about having a "luxury" feel, this probably is not the hotel for you. That said, Santa Barbara has a lot to do and we didn't really want to stay in our hotel anyway, so the fact that it was clean/comfortable enough and the staff was accommodating and helpful was good enough for us. They have a continental breakfast that wasn't notable, but fine if you're looking to grab a quick coffee/bagel etc. There is also wine and cheese in the afternoon, but despite being in wine country they serve some truly horrid stuff (I think probably out of a box), but if sweet Chardonnay and uninspired red wine (supposedly Cabernet) is your thing, you might enjoy it. The only real issue we had with the hotel was how loud it was. You can hear everything that is happening in the parking lot/outdoor hallways (one day we were woken up at 6:30 by people loudly checking out) and the staff starts (loudly) cleaning rooms a little after 8:00, so this definitely is not a great spot if you do not want to get up early (we gained two hours traveling, so this was fine this time)."

"The room was very clean, with really comfortable beds and a nice patio. The pool area was perfect for a warm day. The staff is very amenable and provided a nice breakfast. The inn is in a great location - a short walk to the beach and Sterns Wharf, but far enough away from the Main Street that it was really quiet. "

"There were a few ants on our room each day, which was noted to the front desk. Cleaning service tried to come clean our room The first day at 9a and had to tell the 2x to come back later. The next day our room was cleaned by the time we came back at 1p and had to ask for it to be cleaned, seemed odd to have to ask when they tried to get us out of bed the day before. Asked for a late check out on a Sunday and was denied 2x. There were a lot of kids on Saturday night so it was rather loud and could hear them running around. And lastly they offer s’mores but don’t seem to have enough for each room so we were out of luck 2 of our 3 nights. Seems odd to not have enough for each room. Overall outside looks nice and room is small but renovated but don’t think it was worth the price to not get all the features they promote."

"We absolutely loved our stay. Rooms are clean ane spacious. We enjoyed the pool. They went above and beyond accommodating our early check in so my toddler can nap on time. We checked in at 11.30am for just 30$ fee. Will be back again"

"Very friendly & helpful staff except when checking in I was told I requested a downstairs room when I indeed requested AN upstairs room. I was told since I booked it through Expedia they couldn’t switch it. The room we had was loud. The last 2 times I stayed there was a better experience with the room type. "

"Great location, 1 block from the beach. Generous breakfast including in the stay. Parking is a challenge."
