Hotels in Buena Vista

"The area is loud, so bring earplugs if you want to sleep. Hotel is old and run down. They updated the bedrooms a bit ,(new flooring), but the furniture is worn down and miss matched. Our dresser had very obvious water damage. The bathrooms are old and quite gross at this point. No fan, so you have to open a window.. which is at the walkway, of you are on the back side. No housekeeping services, unless you request 24 hours in advance. Which is not good because they have the tiny trashcans and of course there is sand all over the floor. You have to take your used towels down to the office and swap them out if you want fresh. Cant swim in the pool because it is overrun by seaguls. Overall it was a bad experience. "

"This was a very pricy hotel on hotels.com. There was a $40/day parking fee and a $35/day amenity fee we were charged in addition at the hotel. The hotel needs renovations. A side of the building is cracked, I'm guessing from hurricane damage. The lamp and other permanent items inside the room are worn and look dirty. The linens were pristine, which is important to me. The lock on the sliding door to the balcony was broken. My son found a cockroach in the bathroom, which I understand may sneak in from time to time, but still very gross. The elevator was quick and quiet, but not all the buttons lit up when pressing them. Location was fantastic, step on to the beach. Right next to the pier with children activities. (We didn't get to enjoy because of the weather, but that's not the hotel's fault). Walk to local food and shops. Probably would not stay again, only because of the pricing. "

"Exceptional customer service. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating. They really went above and beyond. My room was clean and had a beautiful view. I would definitely stay there again. "

"The location was great and staff were very friendly. The pool was very relaxing. The internet didn't work well. It was very noises outside our first floor room from hotel workers, loud people, and cars on the street. The room could use and update. With all that being said, the price was right for staying across the street from the beach, and I would stay at the hotel again in the future."
