"Hotel Camburi Praia is a very basic hotel in a small, country village 2hrs south-west of Sao Paulo along the coast. I stayed there for a work engagement. Camburi village is a typical of the area; rustic, weather-beaten, but welcoming enough. You should have some basic knowledge of portuguese though to get by. Hotel Camburi Praia is just off the main street running through the village and about 150m from the beach. It's a very basic hotel (my room 34 was a bit dated, but comfortable enough)....

"What a relaxing stay! I enjoyed the fresh fruit and juices each morning for breakfast. The staff were very friendly. Special shout out to Joel who speaks English and helped me a lot! The room was very clean, and I especially enjoyed the well functioning air conditioner and ceiling fan. Nothing beats sitting by the pool or in their comfortable sitting area at the end of the day with a nice, crisp glass of white wine. Also loved that I simply had to tell the staff at the beach what Pousada I was...

"Near of a superb beach. The staff were friendly and helpful. But the beds too small . No restaurant in the local area were open for dinner or lunch . I use Uber to the central areas several times to access the restaurants. 15 or 20 minutes taxi 🚕 distance. "
