The hotel is connected via a walkway over Hobson St so you don’t even have to leave the complex if you don’t want to!"

"The room was beautiful, as was the whole BnB. The hosts were wonderful and so accommodating and gave us suggestions on places of interest. Braemar is on the historic register and is full of beautiful antiques and interesting paintings and books to peruse. It is in an excellent location, being in the city center and close to the harbor and ferry. Breakfast was delicious and the overall ambiance is wonderful. I highly recommend this to everyone coming to Auckland. "

"My stay was great, comfortable and warm. My room was clean and big enough for 2 adults and 2 kids. Staff were amazing, I had room service for breakfast which was lovely! Access to the sky tower was literally a 8 minute walk, 2 minutes to aotea square, entertainment at your finger tips!! Food choices left right and centre, it’s a great place to stay if you want to explore Auckland city!"

"When in Auckland I stay at Rydges. Location is awesome for restaurants and cafes. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Car park next door is a tad sketchy but it is inner city parking so probably pretty standard around the world. "
